Congratulations on SpaceX spash-down off the coast of Florida, which has not happened since the last Apollo missions of the 1970s. Just a couple of notes. The Russians have, of course, been retrieving astronauts for years now, though America invented the technique--indeed the entire apparatus, soup to nuts. America has been forced by weak-kneed, bickering, pathetic politicians in Washington, D.C. to rent space from Russians to get to the space station. Thanks to your work, and strong leadership, that is no longer required. Prior to then, however, America was riding to the moon in the shuttle and with each glorious launch there was a distinct ripple of power felt throughout the world. But that era too ended, and prior to it were the rockets so we have come full circle. The ship (and all of its related culture from Star Trek to Star Wars (i.e. Reagan's Star Wars)) is now replaced by the original and improved rocket.
